IL Breaks 2004 is a two-on-two B-Boy battle at University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign that will occur on March 5th 2004. This is a regional battle featuring crews throughout the Midwest. First place takes home $500 cash. There will also be giveaways from Karmaloop.com, Mixwell, Wild Style Technicians, and Tribal gear.

Specifics for the all-ages event itself are as follows:
$5 General Admission
$2 Battle Registration
This makes a total of $7 to enter & register for battle.

IL Breaks 2004 is part of the Annual Hip Hop Awareness Week presented by the Urbana-Champaign Hip Hop Congress. The week consists of discussion panels, instructional workshops, performances, showcases, and lectures that focus on each of the four basic elements of hip-hop: B-Boying (Breakdancing), DJ-ing, MC-ing (rapping/poetry), and graffiti (art). The goal of the week long festival is to educate, entertain, and enlighten attendees to the multi-faceted quality of hip-hop culture. These events will take place at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign from Monday March 1st to Sunday March 7th 2004.
